In the beginning, our traditional delicacies — jams, jellies, juices, mulled drinks and mustards — were sold at markets and market halls in Porvoo and Helsinki. The products quickly gained a loyal following.
Our authentic Kotisima, made from a traditional recipe, received glowing praise and sold out in record time — as did our berry-rich Christmas Glogg.
As demand grew, production was moved to our own facilities at the manor’s juice room, and the business was passed from mother to son.
All our delicacies have been handcrafted from the very beginning, using traditional recipes and genuine natural ingredients. Following the same principles, our skilled food professionals continue to make Hommanäs delicacies to this day.
